THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF GOVERNANCE COUNSEL ELECTS DISTINGUISHED NEW FELLOWS FOR 2026

NEW YORK, NY – The American College of Governance Counsel (ACGC), the premier invitation-only honorary association for corporate governance lawyers in the United States and Canada, today announced the election of its newest class of Fellows.  The new members will be formally introduced at the College’s Annual Institute taking place in New York City on September 9-10.

This select group of legal professionals was chosen following a rigorous peer-review process that evaluates candidates on their professional standing, outstanding achievements and sustained contributions to the advancement of corporate governance law.  The newly elected Fellows represent elite practitioners from private practice and prominent corporate general counsel, several of whom have also taught at leading law schools across the country. 

“I’m thrilled to welcome this distinguished group of experienced governance counsel as Fellows in the College,” said Holly J. Gregory, Chair of the College. Each of these outstanding practitioners has demonstrated the leadership and expertise required to advance our profession, we are proud to honor their achievements and we eagerly anticipate the valuable insights they will contribute to our discussions” said Holly J. Gregory,

Berger, President of the College.  “Today’s corporate leaders navigate a highly complex global environment, making sophisticated governance practices and thoughtful legal counsel absolutely essential.  Each of these distinguished individuals has demonstrated the skills, leadership and expertise required to advance our profession, and we look forward to their active collaboration in the years to come.”

The American College of Governance Counsel is an invitation-only honorary society of preeminent lawyers in the United States and Canada who have achieved outstanding recognition in the field of corporate governance.  Membership as a Fellow is restricted to individuals who have demonstrated the highest levels of professional standing, integrity and thought-leadership in the areas of corporate law and governance.  Through its programs, research and collaborative forums the College is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professional excellence and advancing the practice of corporate governance law.
